Java champion and alumnus visits Paisley Campus

Alan, who graduated from the Paisley Campus in 1994, has published a number of books in the Java space covering Enterprise Java, Servlets, JavaMail and database access. He also served in the role of Editor-in-Chief for Java Developers Journal, one of the largest magazines in the space with a 200k monthly circulation.

Alumnus and adoption charity CEO receives CBE at Buckingham Palace

Norman Goodwin, CEO of leading children’s charity and adoption agency, Adoption Matters, received his CBE during a Buckingham Palace investiture ceremony on Friday 9 October 2015. Norman was presented with his CBE medal by the Queen in recognition of his outstanding contribution and distinguished service to adoption and the family.
