Hello Heart Weekends 👋🏾
I am sooo buzzed to let you all know that I am taking over Heart Scotland Weekends! I’ll be getting you excited for the weekend and soundtracking your Sat and Sun 12-4pm 🎉♥️ https://t.co/piMmxfQEY2
Grace who graduated from the University’s Ayr Campus in 2014 remembers her time at UWS fondly, “Studying at UWS helped me gain the key skills I needed to be a presenter and I was always encouraged to push myself creatively. I created my demos in the studios of UWS radio and used my show on the station to endlessly practise.
I remember Paul Tucker and Chris Gilgallon encouraging us to seek work experience where we could and that the commercial station West FM was ‘just across the road’. So I did exactly that, that day and joined West FM street team. Before you know it I started as a travel presenter and then on to present the shows I do now.”
