UWS Graduate Returns as Provost of Renfrewshire

University of the West of Scotland (UWS) business graduate Councillor Lorraine Cameron has become the first person to hold the position of Provost of Renfrewshire for back-to-back terms.

Lorraine, who graduated from the then University of Paisley, now UWS Paisley Campus, in 1998 with a BA in Business Administration, was first elected as a ward councillor in 1999.

Lorraine commented via Twitter; “I feel very honoured to have been appointed as Provost of Renfrewshire for a second consecutive term.  I look forward to the next five years with hope and anticipation, and pray there are no more pandemics!!”
