Stephen who graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science this month at Paisley Abbey told Boxing Scotland how he was now aiming to graduate to the top of the podium at Commonwealth Games.

“After the last Games I went to Motherwell College and got my HNC and HND in Fitness Health Exercise and I also went to the University West of Scotland to do an Honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science as a full-time student, as well as trying to box for Scotland and travel the world,” Stephen explained.

“Sometimes I have been at breaking point and I feel like it is so hard to balance everything, I have not got a life, and am so tired and exhausted. But I knew every day that I have got goals and I have got the Commonwealth Games and I have got my degree to get.”
