On entering Scotland women’s hall of fame Erin commented via twitter: “Difficult to put into words what achieving 50 caps for your country feels like but I am incredibly lucky and honoured to reach it and be amongst some pretty talented company.”
Only 29 SWNT players have reached the milestone of 50 caps. Against Spain at Hampden Park, @erincuthbert_ became the latest.

Midfielder Erin, who studied marketing at UWS Paisley Campus before leaving to play football professionally, spent two years at Glasgow City before joining Chelsea in 2016.
The midfielder made her full Scotland debut in a UEFA EURO 2017 qualifier away to Belarus in June 2016, scoring her first senior international goal against Denmark in her third cap.
She scored four goals during 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying and added to her impressive goals-to-games ration with a 30-yard strike against Jamaica at Hampden Park that earned Erin Scotland Goal of the Year in 2019.
She scored against Argentina at the World Cup and was named Scotland Women’s Player of the Year in 2019.
