“I was doing primary teaching at University of the West of Scotland in Ayr – and mum was fine with that. A nice, safe job, but I got to the end of my degree and was like ‘maw, I don’t want to be a teacher’ and she was like ‘you want to be a DJ!?’. What do you know about that?”

A native of Kincaidston, Ayr, Ewan graduated from the Primary Education programme in 2016 at UWS Ayr Campus and has quickly become one of the most recognised names in British dance music, performing at Glastonbury, Parklife and Creamfields.
