Alumnus joins Scotland Rugby League Board
Sport Development graduate David Fallon has been appointed as Director of Development to the Scotland Rugby League Board.
David, who graduated from UWS Hamilton Campus with a first class honours degree in Sport Development in 2013, is currently the Head of Development with Scottish Squash where he has worked since 2014. David also has experience in planning and delivering major world-class events, most notably Judo, Wrestling & Boxing at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, and Wrestling at the 2017 Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
Whilst a student, David was a player with the UWS Pyros American Football team and is currently an offensive captain for the East Kilbride Pirates.
Keith Hogg, the Chair of Scotland Rugby League said: “As we make more progress in the development of Rugby League in Scotland it is essential that we continually look to improve the quality and depth of the SRL Board.”
