Civil Engineering graduate features in BBC film

The Kingston Bridge, one of Glasgow’s most iconic structures, opened 50 years ago this month. Civil engineering graduate Stuart Baird who founded the Glasgow Motorway Archive comments in the BBC film “I think it’s unlikely that a bridge of this scale carrying a motorway close to a city centre would happen today.”  View the film on the BBC website.
